Thanda Tau is not simply about enjoying a moment of tranquility, but rather about appreciating the magnificence surrounding us.

We invite you to come and spend some time learning about our beautiful wildlife homed onsite. Too many animal species in South Africa can only be viewed at sanctuaries such as Thanda Tau, as populations in the wild have become all but extinct.

We hope to raise awareness on the endangerment each species while allowing guests the opportunity to become more familiar with these animals on an educational guided safari tour.
